Brownsburg roofing and storm repair

When wind or hail comes through Brownsburg, the damage is rarely limited to the shingles. Dynamic Restoration checks the roof, the siding and the gutters together, photographs what the storm did and repairs or replaces what it broke.

Looking after Brownsburg roofs through wind and hail

Most Brownsburg houses still feel new, but their roofs may be older than you think. More than half the homes here went up in 2000 or later, so many original shingles are past twenty years and may give way in the next hard wind. A sound roof protects the decking, insulation and ceilings below, and buyers notice its condition when you list the house.

If a storm leaves a strip of siding on the lawn or a gutter hanging off the corner, call (866) 242-1832. We’re as ready to replace a handful of shingles or one torn pipe boot as we are to put a new roof, new siding and new gutters on the whole house.

Dynamic Restoration has been fixing and replacing roofs since 2008. Our Indiana crews cover Brownsburg and the rest of northern Hendricks County, including Pittsboro and Lizton, along with neighboring Zionsville and Avon. Our shingle roofs are complete GAF systems, and we also hang vinyl or insulated vinyl siding and seamless gutters formed on site. Before we price anything, we inspect the house for free and photograph each slope, often by drone.

Among Brownsburg’s older homes, more date from the 1950s than from all the earlier decades combined, so many are now around seventy years old. Their roofs have usually been replaced more than once, and if the current shingles have gone brittle, a storm can crack or tear them where a newer roof only sheds granules. We photograph storm damage and ordinary wear separately, so you know what the storm did and what age did.

What Brownsburg homes need

Storm hits on gray shingles circled in chalk during a roof inspection

Start with a look at the whole house

Wind lifts shingle tabs and breaks the seal that holds them down. Hail knocks off granules and bruises the mat. From the driveway, both can look like nothing. We check each slope, the vents, the flashing and the gutters, then show you the photos and tell you plainly whether we see storm damage.

When you file an insurance claim

If you decide to file, we’ll be on the roof when the adjuster inspects it, point out what we documented and go over it together. Afterward we help you with the paperwork. Whether the damage is covered is the insurance company’s decision; our part is making sure it’s clearly shown.

Repairs, when a new roof isn’t needed

Plenty of storms only call for a repair. A handful of missing shingles, a torn pipe boot or a loose ridge cap can usually be fixed with matching material. If your roof is near the end of its life anyway, we’ll tell you so and let you decide between a repair and a replacement.

Siding torn loose by wind

When wind peels off vinyl panels, the wall behind them is open to rain. We replace the damaged courses or whole walls, and we can switch you to insulated vinyl, which is stiffer and sits flatter against the house.

Gutters bent by branches or hail

Dented or pulled-down gutters stop draining. We replace them with seamless aluminum runs formed on site in 5″ or 6″ sizes, with downspouts placed to carry water away from the foundation.

Why Brownsburg homeowners call us after a storm

From your first call until the last repair is done, we keep you posted on what the storm damaged, what the fix takes and the day the crew is due.

  • The whole house, one visit

We check the roof, siding, gutters and soffits together, since wind strong enough to strip a siding panel can also break the seal on your shingles.

  • Damage on record

Every slope, wall and gutter run is photographed, often by drone, so the damage is documented before you decide whether to call your insurer.

  • Shingles that stay down

New and replacement shingles are nailed and sealed exactly as the manufacturer specifies, which helps them hold when the next gust comes through.

  • No new roof you don’t need

If the storm took only a few shingles or a pipe boot, we fix that and tell you plainly whether the rest of the roof has years left.

Questions from Brownsburg homeowners

Something else on your mind? Call (866) 242-1832 and ask.

Wind took some siding off, but the roof looks fine. Is it still worth an inspection?

Yes. Wind strong enough to pull siding loose can also lift shingles and break their seal, and that damage rarely shows from the ground. It may not leak until months later. A free inspection gives you photos of every slope, so you know where things stand before you decide anything.

Our house dates from the 1950s. Does that change a re-roof?

It can. Homes that age sometimes carry two or three layers of shingles over the original plank decking. We tear everything off to the boards, replace any that are soft or cracked and show you what we replaced. The new roof then goes on to the manufacturer’s exact specifications.

Do you work in Pittsboro and Lizton too?

We do. We serve northern Hendricks County, including Pittsboro and Lizton, along with Brownsburg. Out there, as in town, the inspection is free and covers the roof, siding and gutters, and payment isn’t due until the job is done.
